Summer, CB and London On Da Track come together in the expected collaboration.
Less than two months after releasing her debut album Over It, Summer Walker returns with a new single assisted by Chris Brown and produced by her boyfriend London On Da Track. “Something Real” comes just days after Summer won the Best New Artist award at the 2019 Soul Train Awards. The 23-year-old said she kept her acceptance speech very brief because she was overcome by nerves.
“I wasn't even coming today because I was scared,” she wrote on Instagram after the ceremony. “At the time my name was called, I couldn't speak for being so nervous and shaking, but I pushed my #sociality today and I'm so glad I did it, because Soul Train is something that any true music lover ever will forget. ”
Summer recently canceled most of her first and last tour, citing her social anxiety as a cause. The singer's next show will be held Monday in Toronto, followed by stops in Boston, New York and Atlanta. Listen to your collaboration with Breezy below.
