NIGERIA: EKITI GOVERNOR, FAYOSE SET TO JUBILATE WITH SUPPORTERS AS APC LAWMAKERS TENURE EXPIRE

Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State is set to rejoice with supporters on the streets on Friday as the tenure of 19 All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers who had wanted to impeach him expired on Thursday.
He will today embark on a town procession in Ado Ekiti, state capital to thank his supporters.
Governor Fayose said he was now ready to get into the act of governance as the APC lawmakers had created an uncertain environment.
The current Ekiti state assembly is entirely dominated by Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmakers to which Fayose belongs.
