Russel Simmons Accused Of Sexual Misconduct
Celebrity Tea: The list keeps growing of sexual predators in Hollywood from Harvey Weinstien to Kevin Spacey. Now Russel Simmons is in that list. Today, it was reported that a model name Keri Claussen Khalighi who as a teen model back in 1991 has come forward and accused Russel Simmons of sexually assaulting her as music video director, Bret Ranter whom himself have accused of sexual misconduct just watched.
She says that the pair took her to Russell's, apartment to watch a music video. She tells Times magazine that he made sexual advances towards her, tore off his clothes and forced her into sexual intercourse. Russell has now denied thse allegations in statement
“Everything that happened between us 26 years ago was completely consensual and with Keri’s full participation,” Simmons said. “We spent time in my apartment over a period of two days and one night, as well as at some public places including Nell’s Nightclub. Much of the time we were in the presence of other acquaintances. I’m deeply saddened and truly shocked to learn of Keri’s assertions as to what happened over the course of that weekend.” Ratner’s attorney told the Times that Ratner has “no recollection” of Khalighi asking for his help.
