Writer Marty Faranan (Colin Farrell) is struggling to finish his screenplay called Seven Psychopaths. Marty's unemployed friend Billy (Sam Rockwell) wants to help him with the writing. Billy support himself by cooperating with Hans (Christopher Walken) by kidnapping dogs and return them back to their owners for payment. But they come across problem when they abduct a Shih Tzu dog of wealthy man Charlie (Woody Harrelson). Characters paths start to intertwine and story becomes more complicated.

This is definitely not a typical Hollywood movie, so be prepared for odd witty humor and in a way mockery of banal action plots we usualy see. First thing that I really loved is the script: original, very smart dialogs and rich characters. Secondly: cast was outstanding! I was most surprised (positively of course) by Sam Rockwell's performance. Another thing that was great, was toying with clichés and scenes where things didn't go as planed (like in all typical films). But on the down side. The biggest problem of the movie is that it seemed to drag and felt a little too long, plus it's dynamics swing too much. I would say, this movie is not for everyone but if you like wicked sense of humor, quirkiness and good script you'll definitely enjoy in it. 4-/5
