Estée Lauder Genuine Glow

Hi everyone!

I am super excited to show you the new Estée Lauder collection called Genuine Glow.

Estée Lauder has just released in Switzerland a capsule collection of hybrid skincare and makeup products that are inspired by the K-beauty glow trend.

OK, when I hear "K-beauty"and "glow", you know that I'm all about it! Moreover, if the products are housed in a gorgeous metallic pink casing, naturally I cannot pass on it.

Especially now that we are heading towards colder days, wearther gets rougher and skin can start looking a bit dull. But don't worry because thanks to the Genuine Glow collection, you'll be able to get your radiance back! Estée Lauder actually describes the collection as designed to "bring your inside glow to the outside"!

The collection consists in two balms, one for the face (exists in a version with SPF and one without SPF) and one for the eyes, 2 blushers, 3 cream highlighters and an oil lip tint.

    Priming Moisture Eye Balm

This eye balm primes and hydrates the delicate skin around the eyes without feeling heavy or greasy. It has a smooth texture that is easy to spread. It gives the illusion of a more rested look as it refreshes the skin.

The priming moisture eye balm contains Vitamin C to brighten dark circles, glucosamine to gently refine skin texture, a blend of sea algae and golden chamomile to help reduce the look of puffiness. Other main ingredients are mango seed butter and shea butter, perfect for a moisture boost.

I caught a cold, have a runny nose and overall look tired at the moment. But true story, this morning I used this eye balm and my cowork told me that I looked really better and fresher today and that my eyes looked more awake. In reality, I'm still the same as yesterday *sigh*. The only thing that changed is that I used this eye balm. So I'm pretty sure that it smoothed my under eye area and made it brighter. My concealer went much smoother and overall I think I looked more rested because of it. So I will definitely keep using it every morning because it's doing wonders for me. I really like its effects plus the texture of the balm that is not heavy.

Blushing Creme For Lips And Cheeks

The Blusing Creme for Lips and Cheeks comes in two colors (pinky red and peach). I got the pinky red one called 01 Sweet Cheeks.

As the name suggest it's a cream blush that gives a really pretty pop of color to your cheeks. It makes them naturally lively and healthy. The slight shimmer finish gives a radiance that's natural and subtle without being over the top. The stick packaging makes it extra convenient because it's easy to take it with you on the go.

I was sincerely impressed by this blush. I love how creamy it is (it has almost a balmy texture), how easy it is to blend and how subtle yet effective it is for a wind-kissed look. Although it's creamy it stays in place and typically last all day on me. Overall that's a fantastic blush I'm super happy I got!

Eyelighting Creme For Eyes And Face

Formulated with an air-light formula, the Eyelighting Creme is a must-have to add a delicious glow to your cheeks. It can also be used on the brow arch, on the lids or in the inner corner of the eyes because it's eye safe!

The Eyelighting Creme comes in 3 colors and I got 2 of them: 01 Gleam Glow and 03 Sweetest Thing.
Although the colors look quite pigmented when you look at them straight out of the tube, they are perfect to achieve that lit-from-within look because they don't look heavy or too much when applied.
The colors are stunning!! Typically Gleam Glow works for me on the cheekbones and also on the eye lids. And I use Sweetest Thing only for eye makeup because it's a copper color. This color would look awesome for deeper skintones but on the lids, whatever your skintone it's the bomb!
And seriously both colors look gorgeous on the eyes! Gleam Glow is the most perfect subtle gold I have ever seen (in terms of color and formula). This baby is definitely a must-have in my opinion!!
Moreover the packaging is a stroke of genius. It's super easy to use, precise and totally mess-free.

          Reviving Oil Lip Tint

This lip oil comes in a single universal sheer shade that "glows" well with any skintone. It also slightly stains the lips for a longlasting effect.

When swatched, it gives a sheer light pink tint, but when applied on the lips, the color intensifies according to your natural shade. On me, it looks like a cool toned medium pink.

It feels very moisturizing and is slightly sticky especially if you use too much product. You actually need only a tiny amount of product to cover your whole lips. If you want something that moisturizes your lips with a my-lips-but-better look, this is perfect for you. At the moment, I've been enjoying using it as my lips are getting drier (damned cold) so a moisturizing lip product is more than welcome and I really like the shine and subtle color.

Overall as you guessed, I absolutely love and adore this collection by Estée Lauder. I love the products for themselves because the colors and textures are well selected to give you a gorgeous radiant look. But I also love the super convenient packaging of all the products.
The blush is so easy to apply in this stick format and the hightlighters are so convenient! You can do a super fresh makeup look in just a couple of minutes! How awesome is that!
